I post this on the evening of my 60th birthday. My birthday began with Session 7 (about controllability and stabilizability) with a class of Ph.D. students at London Business School.
When I was born we lived just north of Regent's Park, in Acacia Road, St
John's Wood, which is just 0.9 miles from London Business School's location. I find it remarkable to have returned so close to my geographic origins after 60
years.
